Dr. Eric Weinstock is a leading psychiatrist in Tampa, Florida, and serves as the Chief Medical Officer at the Florida Psychiatric Center, where he leads a distinguished team of Advanced Practice Providers. A graduate of Williams College, where he finished at the top of his class, Dr. Weinstock went on to earn his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his four-year residency in Psychiatry at Tulane, serving as Chief Resident during his final year.
After residency, Dr. Weinstock joined a private psychiatry practice in the Tampa Bay area, quickly earning recognition as one of the region’s foremost psychiatrists. In 2008, he founded the Florida Psychiatric Center to advance his passion for providing patients with the most up-to-date and effective treatment options in modern psychiatry.
In 2015, Dr. Weinstock emerged as an early pioneer in psychedelic-assisted therapy, becoming one of the first physicians in the region to offer IV Ketamine Therapy for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief. Since then, he has continued to be a trailblazer in this field, training providers nationwide in the safe and effective administration of this treatment.
Today, Dr. Weinstock focuses primarily on IV Ketamine Therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment-resistant depression. He remains deeply committed to education, mentoring future mental health professionals through clinical partnerships with multiple universities and fostering a collaborative, learning-centered environment for his team.

Chaz Hodges is the Managing Partner of the Florida Psychiatric Center, a leading private outpatient psychiatry practice dedicated to setting a new standard in mental healthcare.
